Webinar: Going Green in Elder Care
Events ON Feb 15, 2012
2/28/2012
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EST
Being environmentally responsible helps us live out our values as mission-driven eldercare facilities. It demonstrates care for creation and stewardship of resources. Getting started in this work takes a bit of organization and a lot of passion.
Our faculty for this webinar from Covenant Health Systems, has both — in spades!
They will share their experience of forming green teams, re-thinking food service, and implementing processes for recycling, reuse and reduction of waste and energy use. They will show you how they saved money going green and you can too!
As a result of this program, participants will be able to:
•Plan how to embark on a program of environmental responsibility.
•Engage leaders, employees and community members in going green.
•Measure and celebrate success in environmental responsibility.
Faculty for this program include Nancy Mulvihill, VP, Communications, Covenant Health Systems; Joanne Scianna, COO and Bob Salamanca, Facilities Manager, Youville Place Assisted Living Residence; Joe Levesque, Facilities Manager, MI Nursing/Restorative Center; and Jeff Burks, Relationship Manager, KeyGreen Solutions.
