H. William Adams
H. William Adams is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. Prior to this position, he was employed as a vice president at First Boston Corporation and Associate Director at Bear Stearns. Mr. Adams serves as a director for several not-for-profit organizations including Youville Lifecare in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Adams is also a member of the City of Quincy, MA Planning Board.
Joyce L. Arel, Chair
Joyce Arel received her nursing degree from St. Anselm's College and a Masters Degree in Counseling - Special Education from Rivier College. She served on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph Hospital from 1982-2000. She has worked as a counselor in a number of school systems in New Hampshire and is an instructor at local colleges and hospitals. She currently serves on the board for New Hampshire Community Technical College; Rivier College; Bishop Guertin High School; Community Council of Nashua; the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Greater Nashua Region; St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire division of Youth Services Advisory Board.
Patricia A. Cahill
Patricia A. Cahill, Esq., is the former president and CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives. She was the system's first president, named when CHI was created in 1996. Today, it is the second largest Catholic health care system in the nation with 63 hospitals, 43 long-term care, assisted living facilities and residential units, and two community health services organizations located in 19 states, generating $5.9 billion in annual revenues.
Cahill's achievements include:
- The effective integration of 108 health care organizations into a cohesive, national system;
- Leading the organization through an operational and financial turnaround that resulted in a "AA" bond rating in November 2002;
- Catholic Health Initiatives received the 2001 National Quality Health Care Award from the National Committee for Quality Health Care and Modern Healthcare, the first national health care system to receive the award since its inception in 1994.
Edwin Clift
Edwin Clift is the former Chairman of the St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation in Bangor, ME. He has also served as Chair and CEO of Merrill Merchants Bank in Maine. He has been active in many community and professional organizations including the Maine Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association.
John Isaacson (Vice Chair)
John Isaacson is the CEO/Partner of Lee Auto Malls and Maine Auto Credit. John is the former Board Chair of the Sisters of Charity Health System which includes St. Mary's Hospital and d'Youville Pavilion. He also serves on the Board of Directors Greater Atlantic Insurance Company headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda. John graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College and is a Rufus Choate Scholar.
Thomas L. Kelly
Thomas L. Kelly is the President and CEO of Schaller Anderson Inc., headquartered in Arizona. His previous experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at Davita, Inc., and founding Mercy Health Plans, Inc. During his tenure at Mercy Health Plans, Mr. Kelly oversaw all aspects of the development and operation of this managed care organization.
Mr. Kelly has an M.S. in Accounting from New York University and serves on the Boards of Fidelis Care in New York and the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center.
June Ketterer, SGM
Sr. June Ketterer, SGM, area coordinator for the Sisters of Charity of Montreal ("Grey Nuns"), St. Joseph Province, was responsible for leading the way in establishing the Grey Nuns Health System in l983 which later became known as Covenant Health Systems. She has served as Covenant Board Chair from 1995 to 2001 and has served on many boards of Covenant member institutions, including Youville Lifecare (board chair 1989-1993), and Youville Place Assisted Living Residence. Sr. June received an Honorary Doctor of Human Letters, Siena Heights College (Adrian, MI) and Siena Medal "for Christian and Social Commitment" in l986.
David R. Lincoln
David Lincoln serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Covenant Health Systems. Prior to joining Covenant, Mr. Lincoln was Vice President of Planning and Marketing for Memorial Health System in South Bend, IN. Mr. Lincoln serves on many boards, including the Executive Committee of Catholic Healthcare Partners, the Center for Catholic Healthcare and Sponsorship at Loyola University, Mercy Health Partners, and Yankee Alliance. He is also the past chairperson of Catholic Health Association and the Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing of the American Hospital Association.
Catherine Loeffler
Catherine Loeffler, M.S. is the Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Worcester responsible for administering a multi-program human service corporation. Ms Loeffler served on the National Board of Trustees of Catholic Charities USA and the Board of Covenant sponsored, St. Mary Healthcare Center in Worcester. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester and on the Board of Covenant sponsored, Helping Hands of St. Marguerite, Cambridge.
James F. Loftus, IV
James F. Loftus is presently Vice President of CBS Radio and General Manager of 98.1 WOGL & 94 WYSP Radio located in Philadelphia. He is very active in the local community as well as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home and Villa Residence (Elmhurst Township, PA), a member of Covenant Health Systems. He is also a board member of the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
John D. Oliverio
John D. Oliverio is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare located in Wheaton, Illinois. Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare is a Catholic, not-for-profit organization with more than 100 health and shelter sites and nearly 22,000 associates in Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado and Illinois. As President and CEO, he has led the charge to operate as a fully integrated delivery network, to efficiently and effectively support the needs of patients, associates, physicians, and communities. He has also been commmitted to various civic organizations over his career in addition to serving as chair of his parish finance committee and local school board.

John Pallone is the founder and partner of Shaheen, Pallone & Associates, P.C., a full service certified public accounting firm in North Andover, Massachusetts, which provides accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services to a diverse clientele. John is very involved in community affairs and has served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Mary Immaculate Health Care Services, a member of Covenant Health Systems.
Richard J. Statuto
Richard J. Statuto is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bon Secours Health System, a $3 billion not-for-profit Catholic health system with more than 30 facilities in seven states in the eastern United States. The Bon Secours Health System employs more than 21,000 people. Richard currently serves on the Mercy Housing and American Heart Association Mid Atlantic Region boards. He has served as chair of the Board of Trustees of the Catholic Health Association, vice chair of the board of Christus Health System headquartered in Dallas, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Kmart Corporation and the American Red Cross.
Louise Trottier
Louise Trottier serves on Covenant Health Systems' Finance Committee. She serves as Vice Chair of the St. Joseph Hospital Board in Nashua and also is a member of their finance committee. Louise is the Executive Vice President, Retail Distribution, Eastern Division for TD Banknorth.
